New Orleans Vacation Pictures

Aquarium - Some of these are rather fuzzy. Sorry: fish are fast-moving critters... But it's a great aquarium. Well worth the visit.
French Quarter & Riverboats - A few pictures from around the French Quarter and while riding various boats. Not much in the way of architecture, though; that's just not my thing. Most of the riverboat pictures were taken on the tourboat that runs between the Aquarium and the Zoo. Take the boat -- it's a nice trip -- but don't try to do both the Aquarium and the Zoo in the same day.
Mardi Gras World - Blaine Kern's Mardi Gras World (their homepage) isn't nearly as tacky as their advertising suggests. The actual tour is fairly useless, but the staff is friendly and helpful, and the "wander around on your own and take all the pictures you want" philosophy is a very pleasant approach.
Zoo - The zoo is a mixed bag: for example, the Australian section is rather minimal, but the Swamp section is appropriately large. Lots of nice felines of various sorts.
